日本でインフルエンザがいちばん多い

 インフルエンザになった人が、今まででいちばん多くなりました。

The number of people who got influenza has reached an all-time high.

国によると、12月29日までの1週間にインフルエンザになった人は、47都道府県全部で前の週より増えました。
According to the government, during the one week up to December 29, the number of people who got influenza increased in all 47 prefectures compared to the previous week.

今の方法で調べ始めた1999年から今までで、いちばん多くなりました。
Since investigations began using the current method in 1999, this is the highest number recorded so far.

大分県や鹿児島県、佐賀県など43の都道府県で、とても多くなっています。
In 43 prefectures, including Oita, Kagoshima, and Saga, the numbers are particularly high.

日本では、この1週間に250万人ぐらいがインフルエンザになったと考えられています。
It is estimated that about 2.5 million people got influenza in Japan during this one week.

去年9月からは、600万人ぐらいがインフルエンザになったようです。
Since September of last year, around 6 million people appear to have contracted influenza.

国は、手をよく洗ったりマスクをしたりして、気をつけてほしいと言っています。
The government is urging people to take precautions by washing their hands thoroughly and wearing masks.
